LOCATION: Bundall, Gold Coast
ROLE: 3 Month Contract Part-Time, 4 Days per week Monday – Thursday
(32 Hours per week) with the potential to extend the contract or full-time employment.
SECTOR: Interior Design Firm

We are looking for a friendly and energetic person and who shows initiative and a passion for the interior design industry to join our CRD family.
WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
You would be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients in order to understand their ideas, inspirations and goals for their project. You would create unique and timeless designs that reflect their brief by creating functional, practical and aesthetic design plans in Sketch Up and Layout, photoshopping images, sourcing specific products, creating physical and digital moodboards and completing realistic 3D renders.
You would also work closely with a team of creatives on a variety of different projects – this means that you would occasionally need to visit and meet with clients and suppliers onsite, complete onsite consultations, and style and photograph completed spaces.
You will need to be a driven and creative person with strong project management and time management skills.
YOUR ESSENTIAL QUALITIES

A fantastic sense of humor is a must!
Three years of industry experience minimum
Driven and showing initiative
Knowledge of a variety of interior design styles
Able to develop and maintain friendly relationships with clients and suppliers
Knowledge of materials and brands relevant to the interior design industry
Have a vehicle that you can use to visit clients and suppliers.
YOUR KEY SKILLS
Designing 2D Floorplans, Elevations, Sections, Lighting and Finishes Plans in Sketch Up and Layout
Creating 3D Models and Renders in Sketch Up and Podium (or similar rendering software)
Able to quickly digitally manipulate images in Photoshop to create Digital Overlays and Colour Allocation Plans
Assembling digital and physical moodboards
Evidence of both interior and exterior colour consultancy experience
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Product sourcing & styling
As a part-time employee, you would be expected to work 32 hours per week, plus any reasonable additional hours. You will be working with the CRD team out of our studio in Bundall.
